CHER LLOYD - SIRENS !

Hello everyone !

In the last month, we have been captioning a song, and we had to put those subtitles in three different languages. The song I have chosen for is called "Sirens" and it is one of the songs of the last album "Sorry I'm late" of Cher Lloyd. The reason why I have chosen it, is that I really like the song, it is very deep.

Cher Lloyd is an English singer, songwriter, rapper, and model. She audicioned in the TV program "The X Factor", in the year 2010. Although she didn't won the conpetition, Cher finished fourth, and shortly afterwards, she signed for Syco Music. Her debut single called "Swagger Jagger",  was released in July 2011. Arter that she published another single featuring Mike Posner, preceding her debut album Sticks and Stones, which peaked at number four in the UK Albums Chart and number seven in Ireland.

"Sirens" is one of the songs of her second album "Sorry I'm Late". The single released on 17 March 2014 alongside the pre-order of the album. This song was lauded by music critics, with many praising the song's mature sound, Lloyd's vocals, and also noting the change in direction from Lloyd's previous work.

Hi everyone !

This month, we've decided to make a Glog in Glogster, about Human's Rights, Wamen's Rights, or Children's Rights. I personaly thought that the best idea was to do it about Children's Rights because their situation in Africa is horrendous.

In this glog I have put many pictures, videos of children in Africa and also pictures of some organizations whose idea is to help hem. There also are some senteces related to Children's Rights, and links to the organizations.

BARACK OBAMA !

Today our teacher has proposed to write an article about a person who has won a nobel price, so, I have decided to write about Barack Obama, the winner of the 2009 Nobel Peace Prize.

I am writing about Obama because I think he is very important in the history of the United States and also of the whole world. He is a man who has fought realy hard to be president of USA, because a lot of people has judged him because he is a black person. Here you have a little biography about him, and the reason why he won the Nobel Prize.

Barack Hussein Obama II (born August 4, 1961) is the 44th and current President of the United States, the first African American to hold the office; and The reason of why he was given the Nobel Peace Prize is this:

In 2004, Obama received national attention during his campaign to represent Illinois in the United States Senate with his victory in the March Democratic Party primary, his keynote address at the Democratic National Convention in July, and his election to the Senate in November.

He began his presidential campaign in 2007, and in 2008, after a close primary campaign against Hillary Rodham Clinton, he won sufficient delegates in the Democratic Party primaries to receive the presidential nomination. He then defeated Republican nominee John McCain in the general election, and was inaugurated as president on January 20, 2009.

Later, nine months after his election, Obama was named the 2009 Nobel Peace Prize laureate, for his extraordinary efforts to strengthen international diplomacy and cooperation between peoples.
